Service schedules are paragraphs of legal text that are specific to a service you deliver, such as payroll or annual financial statements. They clarify yours and your clients responsibilities when it comes to the provision of specific services. These must be included in the letter of engagement for each service you are providing. OverSuite provides you with 60+ service schedules which have been automatically assigned to the default services in your system, however you may offer services outside of these defaults.

Here's how to add a new service and service schedule to your system.

STEP 1: Adding a new service

To add in a new service, head to Configure > Line items.

You will then see the line items (services) provided by OverSuite.

At the bottom of a section you will see an ‘add a new line item’ button, click this to add a new service.

A small window will appear and this is where you will configure your new line item. You first off want to fill in the ‘Line item label’ with the service Name.

STEP 2: Applying a service schedule

Once you have filled in your service name, you can review your service schedules.

First, look to see if this service is listed in the drop down menu, as OverSuite provides 60+ service schedules ready for you to use.

If there’s not one to suit your service, you can use the ‘blank’ option instead and draft up your own terms.

STEP 3: Saving a line item

Once you have finished configuring your new service, scroll to the bottom and click ‘Save line item’

You will then be taken back to your line items page, where you can view your line item with the existing ones.

If you need to review the content within a line item simply click the ‘edit line’ button on the far right hand side.

You can also move your line items by clicking and holding, if there’s a specific order you would like them to see them.
