You may need to edit some of the content that pulls through to your engagement letters. So let's take a look at how to do this.

Where to find your engagement letter content

If you head to Configure > Engagement Letters, the tabs to the left hand side are areas of your engagement letters you can look to configure.

Editing your engagement letter content

There are areas within your Engagement Letters page, where you can look to edit the content that pulls through to your engagement letter PDF.

Engagement Letter Suite

The Engagement Letter Suite provides you with a list of all your engagement letter scopes along with sections to edit Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice, Service Schedules introduction and Agreement Statements.

To edit an engagement letter scope (template), click the 'edit' button.

This will allow you to edit the name of the template, the OverSuite scope being used, and also the further breakdown of the introduction and scope detail.

If you head back to the Engagement Letter Suite and scroll down, you can find the sections to edit the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice, Service Schedules introduction and Agreement Statements.

Please note: the engagement letter content using the Smart information provided by OverSuite will automatically be applied to your app and will be tailored to your firm from the information provided in the OverSuite Wizard.
Should you wish to create your own content for each feature you can switch to the 'Create your own' option.

Letterhead Components

All letterhead components including your footer, professional body legend and directors list can be added and amended from this page.

(1) List of Directors/Partners/Members: The list of directors that will appear in your Engagement Letters is defined by those directors you have assigned as Key People in OverSuite.

If you would rather make a link to a list of directors on your website, then switch your settings over from list to website link, and include the URL in the required field.

(2) Professional Body Legend: Including a Professional Body Legend to your Letters of Engagement is a requirement of certain professional bodies. We will add this in automatically for you once you have configured your OverSuite and provided us with the information we need.

This will be included automatically on the contents page of your Engagement Letters.

(3) Footer: It is important in many cases to include a footer on your Engagement Letter in line with Awarding Body requirements. The Footer will be put together from the information provided in the OverSuite Wizard during set up.

Key People

Within the Key People section, you'll want to ensure you have captured the details of all the key people who need to appear in the Engagement Letter, such as Directors, Partners, Principals and Auditors.
You can use the 'edit' button to edit the details of existing key people, use the 'Add new principle' button to add key people and use the bin icon to delete any people.

Organisation Details

You can amend and review your organisation details within this section. These details shown here are from the initial information provided in the OverSuite wizard during the set up of your app.
Simply use the 'edit' button on each question to amend as required.

Key Dates

You can look to edit the Key Dates table introduction and also the headings within this section. For more information on how to do this, please see our help article here.
